Cole County Historical Museum

Located at 109 Madison (3 blocks away). Across the street from the Governor’s Mansion is a structure housing the museum of the Cole County Historical Society. The museum is open for tours Tuesday 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday from Noon to 3:30 p.m. It is closed mid-December through January 31st. Admission is $1 for adults and 50¢ for students. Special group tours as well as additional information are available by calling 635-1850.
