Lewis and Clark Trailhead Plaza

Corner of Capitol Ave. and Jefferson St. A Lewis and Clark monument next to the Missouri State Capitol, officially called the Lewis and Clark Monument Trailhead Plaza, is completed after several months of work. Jefferson City now has another site to recognize its connection to Lewis and Clark. Greenway trail The greenway is a multi-use trail designed to provide a safe alternative to walk, jog, bike or skate away from busy city streets. There are approximately 12.5 miles of greenway trail throughout Jefferson City providing additional opportunities for outdoor recreation, relaxation and enjoyment.
